Finally NGO ACPELIA with the participants ofthe training organised an activity in C TESEK of Limassol
A different experience was experienced by the students of the 3rd year of C TESEK Limassol, on Thursday, January 18, 2024. In particular, we had with us Ms. Maria Markou, IT professor at the Ministry of Education and a paralympian in the sport of weightlifting at the Paralympics in Tokyo, together with the basketball players of Apollon Wheel Chair Basketball Christakis Ioannou and Ifaistos Wheel Chair Basketball Michalis Pavlidis (2 of them youthworkers in NGO ACPELIA and participants of our training). The wheelchair athletes talked to the students about wheelchair basketball, and disabilities, and the students played with them and had the experience of stepping into someone else's shoes.
