Final Conference Greece

Final Conference in Greece was done in Komotini from NGO IRODIKOS and in the conference and final event they implemented a game for inclusion of people with disabilities. The event took place inJune at Komotini and they took part in it more than 50 youth workers, physical education students, representatives of othe NGO and Institution from the whole area of Thrace. through the game a lot of activities were expained to the participants as well as the rules of them.

During the 9th training camp of the Perpato Association and the sports club Irodikos, on the second day, the IncDisBas program was presented, along with an introduction by the president of the Association, Alexandros Taxiildaris, and the specialized trainers of the club. They discussed Paralympic sports to an audience of about 55 people and 20 staff.. Significant emphasis was placed on the inclusion of people with disabilities in sports and its benefits, so that participants of various ages could understand the importance of sports. They were given the opportunity to play wheelchair basketball with the help of a referee and players from the Irodikos basketball team, learning the rules and participating in a mixed tournament. The event was organized in cooperation with the Hellenic Paralympic Committee, Herbalife, and the local community.
